Sharon Hom, Executive Director of Human Rights in China, leads a discussion about the people’s resistance against the authoritarian regime in Beijing.

Hom leads Human Rights in China’s human rights and media advocacy, as well as strategic policy engagement with NGOs, governments, and multi-stakeholder initiatives. She is currently a Visiting Professor at the University of Hong Kong. Hom recently testified before the Congressional-Executive Commission on China’s Hearing: “Hong Kong’s Summer of Discontent and U.S. Policy Responses.”
