The Sorensen Center hosts Darnell Moore, head of Strategy and Programs at Breakthrough US, for an intimate discussion on identity and justice. Darnell is a writer and activist whose work is informed by anti-racist, feminist, queer, and anti-colonial thought and advocacy. His recent memoir, No Ashes in the Fire: Coming of Age Black and Free in America, is receiving well-deserved attention.

This conversation is moderated by Malita Picasso, a third-year CUNY Law student and Editor-in-Chief of the CUNY Law Review. After graduating in May, she will begin a Skadden Foundation Fellowship with the ACLU LGBT & HIV Project.
