Justice Sachs is one of the most respected human rights lawyers in South Africa and worldwide. He spent decades fighting apartheid as a freedom fighter and was appointed by President Mandela to the Constitutional Court in 1994. He was instrumental in assembling the Constitutional Court Art Collection. He is 2018 Scholar-in-Residence at the Sorensen Center.
Darren Walker is President of the Ford Foundation where he is pioneering a model of disruptive philanthropy, targeting the causes of inequality. He led the philanthropy committee that helped bring resolution to Detroit’s historic bankruptcy and chairs the U.S. Impact Investing Alliance.
